Dr. Chris Cote began his health career in sports medicine at Azusa Pacific University where he worked on high level college athletes in sports such as football, basketball, soccer, track and field, baseball, and softball. He also served as an Athletic Trainer to Pasadena City College. Some of his significant accomplishments include: working with the 1998 NAIA National Football Champions (APU), 1999 NAIA Women’s Basketball National Tournament as well as many college athletes that went on to professional baseball, soccer, and the Olympics. He gained tremendous experience in the treatment of sports injuries from-on-the-field evaluations, rehabilitation, to returning the athlete back to competition. His fascination with the healing process drove him to study the human body even further.
Dr. Chris Cote went on to receive his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences with a special emphasis in sports medicine. This has led him to work with organizations such as the US Olympic weightlifting Pan American games, American Volleyball Pro Tour (AVP) and the US Olympic Track and Field.
Dr. Cote has always held enjoyed the the team approach to healing. He worked in a multi-discipline clinic which included Medical Doctors, a Doctor of Osetopathy, a Neurologist, a Physical Therapist and massage therapists. Working alongside Medical Doctors allowed him to understand patient care from a different perspective. He influenced the Western Medical side with his holistic, alternative approach while learning highly advanced care to deliver to his patients. Dr. Cote has been entrusted with the health of many patients varying in age from newborns to seniors, with the oldest being 92 years of age. Having such an variety of patients is a true testament to the trust and relationships formed in the office. No matter who may walk into the office - an individual, family, professional athletes or celebrities - all receive the best quality care possible.
